BGRS is proud to be part of the SIETAR USA Virtual Conference on October 8 – October 13, 2020.
“Moving Ahead: Learning from the Global Crisis,” is this year’s theme for the SIETAR USA Virtual Conference and will give attendees the opportunity to learn and grow together while staying apart.
BGRS’s Sharon Nakpairat, Senior Manager, Talent Mobility Consulting, and Jennifer Rowe, Manager, Talent Mobility Consulting, will be hosting a 60-minute session on Friday, October 9 at 2:30 ET titled, “Global Competency and Diversity Equity and Inclusion During COVID-19: A View from Relocation.” During the session, they will share their expertise on the changing world of work as it relates it to both the mobility and intercultural industries.
Relocation Management Companies (RMC) offer traditional face-to-face intercultural training programs for corporate assignees and families preparing to live abroad or have arrived in their host country. In recent years however, as intercultural training has widened its focus from “relocation training” to “global competency training” RMC’s clients have responded with additional needs. Requests include that trainings incorporate not only culture-specific information but also respond to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) needs based on cultural expectations. Add a global pandemic into the 2020 landscape, and the requests have increased rather than slowed. Be sure to join our SIETAR session to hear the innovative story of how BGRS is responding to a client’s request for global competency training to meet DE&I needs in our new virtual landscape in the time of COVID-19.
