BGRS’s Emma Dodwell-Groves explores how organizations develop global leaders to manage cross-cultural teams within virtual environments.

At this year’s SIETAR conference in Europe, BGRS’s Emma Dodwell-Groves, EMEA Regional Lead, Intercultural Services, will lead a workshop exploring how organizations are finding success and responding to challenges associated with navigating business and teams virtually across cultures. The Society for Intercultural Education Training and Research (SIETAR) encourages the development and sharing of the knowledge, values and skills that enable effective intercultural relations at the individual, group and organizational levels.

Utilizing findings from the 2016 Global Mobility Trends Survey, Emma will discuss global talent management, perceptions of cultural leadership effectiveness and how cultural differences can impact virtual teams. Session attendees will have the opportunity to participate in live discussions on best practices as well as a guided simulation demonstrating the impact of cultural understanding within global teams.

SIETAR Europa is hosting its annual conference in Dublin, Ireland, May 22-27, 2017. Visit their event website for additional details.
